( First Colombian to summit Everest)
I had the opportunity to visit the Cochamó Valley, Chile, a valley of spectacular granite rock with many high-level routes, most of them large walls. The rope performed
efficiently for what I expect from a rope as a climber. I saw how the rope had great resistance to friction and the abrasives of the rock, and how practical it was for rappelling on these walls. I found it to be a strong, malleable rope, easy to use with safety systems.

I tried the Lynx 9.2 mm and 80-meter rope in traditional and sports climbing, including top rope solo.
The weight is superb. Compared to other 9.2 mm ropes, the Lynx is so lightweight.
The rope is smooth when belaying and catches a fall quite well with different belaying systems such as Petzl Grigri, Edelrid Gigajul, Petzl Reverso, and Austrialpin Fish.
The sensation of security when using it is high, and even after falling on it a couple of times, I could not feel any sign of weakness or excessive elongation.

I have used BEAL, EDELRID, PETZL, KORDA, and TENDON ropes, but the most transportable, easy to handle, and quick to manoeuvre is yours, it has the same characteristics of an 8 mm but the technical characteristics of a 9 mm.

I have been using Namah ropes for over a year now, across a wide range of disciplines, including rock, ice, and alpine climbing. I’ve particularly relied on the Lynx half rope and the single 8.4mm ropes. Most of the time, I use their dry-treated versions for ice climbing, and they have been a huge relief. The ropes stay light even in wet conditions and are much easier to carry. I’ve been genuinely impressed by their durability and overall quality.

The Namah Lynx 9.4mm is an impressive dynamic rope that balances performance with security. It has a fantastic hand-feel right out of the box, supple enough for smooth belaying but with a grip that feels reliable. I’ve used it with children, and its consistent performance provides great peace of mind for youth climbing sessions.
Outstanding performance in breaking strength tests. Thus, it remains a dependable, high-quality workhorse for those prioritizing safety and handling at the crag.

My friends and I, including some highly experienced canyoneers, were genuinely impressed with Namah Ropes. The braking on the descender was excellent, the handling felt incredibly soft, and the performance in wet conditions was consistently reliable. Overall, a very dependable rope that I would confidently recommend to anyone serious about canyoning.
