Namah, a global venture with an Indian legacy dating back to 1898, is scaling new heights with a premium range of climbing, rope-access, and safety gear. As we grow our presence across the Australian market, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager with deep industry experience and a passion for the outdoors to lead our expansion in the region.
Location: Remote (Australia-Based)
Industry: Outdoor, Rope-Access, Industrial Safety, Height Work
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities across Australia and New Zealand
- Build trusted relationships within the outdoor, rope-access, and work-at-height sectors — including resellers, distributors, training schools, and safety contractors
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy tailored for the ANZ region
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to fine-tune our product positioning
- Represent Namah at relevant trade shows, expos, and networking events across Australia
- Collaborate with the marketing team to drive region-specific campaigns and lead generation
- Provide regular sales forecasts, performance insights, and on-ground feedback to global leadership
- Ensure adherence to local safety standards and industry compliance
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in the outdoor, rope-access, industrial safety, or height work industries
- Familiarity with the Australian safety equipment market and relevant standards (e.g., AS/NZS 1891, IRATA certifications, etc.)
- A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of climbing gear, rope systems, and fall protection equipment
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously in a remote setup
- Willingness to travel domestically for client meetings and industry events
Bonus Points For
- Certifications such as IRATA Level 3, NOLS, or similar
- Prior experience working with rope access companies, outdoor retailers, industrial safety suppliers, or government procurement in Australia

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager with a strong foothold in the outdoors or work-at-height industries to lead our business development across international regions.
Location: Europe / USA / Australia / Middle East (Remote)

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across Europe, USA, Middle East, and Africa
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the outdoor and work-at-height communities
- Create and implement regional sales strategies to meet revenue and growth goals
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and new opportunities
- Represent Namah at trade shows, expos, and industry events
- Collaborate with the marketing team to tailor campaigns for target regions
- Present regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles in the outdoor or industrial safety sectors
- Relevant qualifications such as NOLS and/or IRATA Level 3 are preferred
- Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targe
- Strong knowledge of rope-access, work-at-height, mountaineering, or climbing gear sectors
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned regions
