Milestones That Define Us
Since 1898, our company has been on an enduring journey—built on trust, innovation, and a relentless drive to evolve. What began as a small cotton trading business has today become a global name in rope manufacturing, FDY yarn production, and high-performance safety gear.
Across more than 125 years, we’ve expanded from hand-woven cotton tapes to cutting-edge synthetic yarns, from government-approved suppliers to an international brand—Namah. This timeline captures the major transformations, strategic investments, and visionary moments that shaped who we are today.

1898 – Our Journey Begins
Started as traders of cotton yarn, fabric, tapes, and ropes—laying the foundation for a legacy of trust and craftsmanship.

1930 – Diversified into Cotton Cloth
Expanded product range with cotton cloth for bags and jute tapes, entering new market segments.

1968 – Started Manufacturing Operations
Began in-house manufacturing of cotton tapes and cotton cloth, marking our move from trading to production.

1976 – Added Braided Ropes & Cords
Launched the manufacturing of braided ropes and cords, setting the stage for rope specialization.

1980 – Government Recognition
Became a government-approved supplier for cotton tapes, nylon webbings, and cords across India.

1991 – Pioneering in Synthetic Yarns
Upgraded to PPFDY plants with an annual production capacity of 500 MT, marking entry into modern synthetics.

2005 – Boost in Yarn Manufacturing
Added PP multifilament yarn capacity and introduced advanced twisters/doublers for PP yarn processing (Annual capacity: 1200 MT).

2009 – Major Technological Leap
Acquired multiple FDY plants and advanced machinery from North America, enhancing manufacturing capabilities.

2010 – Scaling Up & Going Global
Doubled production and began direct exports, reaching 2400 MT annual capacity.

2019 – JP Fibres Becomes a Brand
JP Fibres gained global recognition with a manufacturing capacity of 3500 MT and a trusted presence across industries.

2021 – Nylon/Polyamide FDY Launch
Installed FDY lines for nylon and polyamide multifilament yarns, strengthening our synthetic rope offerings.

2022 – Namah Ropes is Born
Launched the Namah brand for the global climbing and safety gear market—bringing premium ropes and harnesses to retail and professional users worldwide.
